Writing the body of a cover letter is difficult enough without the added challenge of not knowing who to address it to.
When the hiring managers name is unknow, try to be as specific as possible by using their job title or company name such as “dear hiring manager” or “dear hiring manager.” Make sure to use a persons title, and avoid assuming their gender based on their name.
